About the Teaching and Learning Excellence website

The Teaching and Learning Excellence website is a collaborative meeting place for faculty, staff, graduate students, post-docs and other educators from across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to share ideas, challenges, and solutions, as well as find resources to help in their instructional mission. It is the virtual teaching and learning center at UW-Madison.

Anyone involved in instruction at UW-Madison is encouraged to use the site to the fullest degree:

  • Find tips and suggestions on how to construct syllabi, how to better use course evaluations, and whether or not to post your lecture notes online.
  • Join discussions about cheating and how to engage large classes.
  • Post your own questions, comments, and events.
  • Find or promote Teaching & Learning events, as well as links to other Teaching & Learning resources and centers on campus and beyond.
